King of the Playground

Luke loves to play outside and especially on the playground. He is a little daredevil & loves to climb & slide. He doesn't like to come inside very much and is beginning to throw little fits, I'm hoping it's just a stage!

Happy Easter!

Luke's Grandma & Grandpa came to visit for the Easter weekend from Amarillo. Here is Luke on another Easter egg hunt at the park across the street from our house. This time he could care less and had more fun stomping on all the eggs than putting them in his basket. I can't believe that we didn't get any pictures on Sunday! We did get family pictures taken in Luke's Easter outfit so I guess that will be our Easter picture for this year.

Easter Egg Hunts at school

Since Luke is in 2 classes at school he had 2 egg hunts! On Monday he didn't know quite what to do & he did not want to wear his cute bunny ears from his Teachers! But by Wednesday he had it figured out & he had so much fun hunting the eggs & putting them in his truck Easter basket!

Snow......in March!!

Today around 1:00 it started to snow & it snowed & snowed. There was about 5 inches in our backyard around 3:30. Luke had fun playing for the first few minutes but then he got cold. Gunner was loving it & can't wait until next year when Luke is pelting him with snowalls. Here's a video of Luke's short play time in the snow today!

Best Buddies

Luke & his best bud Gunner had fun hanging out today! We got Luke a new fun slide & of course Gunner wanted to play too. We went to the park & they had fun playing ball. Luke runs around saying "ball" all day, he loves any & every ball he can find. His new slide has a basketball goal & Luke has been shooting baskets like crazy, don't have a picture of that yet....

Desserts with Dad

Luke had a special night at school with his Daddy on Thursday, Desserts with Dad. Ben had the flu all week but got better just in time to attend this fun event. Luke & his Daddy played a little golf & hung out & ate sugar cookies. Luke was so excited to have his Daddy visit his school!

Spots Everywhere!

I know, I know, it's been a while since our last post, so I will get you all caught up on Luke's activities. Luke broke out a couple of weeks ago with spots all over his body! There was not fever so the Dr. thought it was hives & something he ate. I don't think I gave him anything different to eat & the next day he started to run a low grade fever, so we are thinking it was a little virus. Luckily it didn't slow him down at all & the rash didn't seem to bother him. Here are a few candid shots of him at bath time....
